Default Turbo?'s

Im going Turbo for my 2001 GSR now I need to know some things . Keep in mind I did a serach. I need to know what a safe psi to keep it at during daily driving. I need to know what Gauges I need for this system (Drag 3)?? And does the Turbo always put more load on your engine vs a SC?

You'll want a Boost and EGT gauge. 7psi is safe. Boost is boost, so wear and tear as compared to a JRSC will be the same.

Dont listen to these guys, they are all playing with you. This question has been asked a thousand times, and this board is sort of bias. We dont like Superchargers!! Just go turbo, get yourself a rev-hard kit or drag kit. Safe psi is 6-7 psi which is stock on those kits. You dont really need any guages, but it would help if you had a AFR guage, EGT, and offcourse boost guage. Does turbo put more load on the motor rather then SC? hmmm I think they would put the same load on the motor, if you are running same psi. Forced fed air is Forced fed air.
