why take it off just cause you dont know enough about boost? just read up, is it tuned? if its tuned and runs good thers nothing to need to know if the kits already installed

well thats the thing, its running like shizz. its needs a tune really bad. and the guy who set it up the motor and turbo kit took some short cuts on the wiring and vacuums. i know for the most part of what i need to do to get it running well but tuning alone isn't cheap and saying that cause im a senior in high school.

here's the setup..

engine
ls/vtec
JE 9:1 84 mm piston
eagle rods
golden eagle sleeve
supertech tit retainer
supertech duel valve springs
stage 5 port job
aem adjustable camgear
new vtec oil pump
turbo
garrett 62 mm turbo
tial 38 mm wastegate
turbo xs bov
turbo xs duel stage boost controller
ram style turbo maifold
neptune ecu
clutch master lighten flywheel
zoom stage 3 clutch
880 cc injectors
255 walbro fuel pump

if it's a built, sleeved motor, I'd let it sit a while, invest in getting it set up right, and save up and get it tuned properly.

sounds like it's got a sick setup on it, to be honest with you man.

Or you can just trade me that longblock for my GSR longblock :D

haha thanks dude, well i guess for now i think if i got new intercooler piping (since the builder is used a cold air intake as part of it), and a tune it would be running fine! i'll see if i can figure out how to post up a pic of the stuff thats done up wierd. and how much would you estimate a tune would cost? thanks

whatever it'd cost, on that motor it'd be worth it. 500whp should be a breeze on that setup.

just don't kill yourself with all that power!

just make sure there's no death bar (bar to the side of your head). if there is, make sure it's HEAVILY padded.
