Project was just completed and is now ready for the turbo. Engine is an H22a1 with Darton sleeves, weisco 8.8:1 pistons and eagle rods. The head has Ferrea SS std valves, as well as springs and retainers. Currently it has a 125 shot NOS w/ a best time of 13.3 @ 110 on street tires with absolutely no traction the whole way down the track and a chattering 6 puck clutch. I am thinking about a custom turbo kit and was wondering what would be a good manifold/turbo/intercooler platform? It NEEDS to be a streetable combo with 11 second et's the goal. Anyone have this combo? What about times w/ slicks. The track I race at is more like an Ice Rink than an International Raceway. Any suggestions? comments? flames? Im game for anything, Id just like some credible info. Thanks.
