Turbo question for a B16
How many lbs of boost can i run on a stock B16 motor?
and whats the cheapest way of going about a turbo, but still having it be durable.. i was thinking about getting one of the ebay specials, for 699..but, dont kno how durable they are or what they can do.
on my b16, i got aem fuel rail, upgraded air intake, DC headers, then everything else is stock, i was looking to run 8-12 lbs.. maybe how expensive is it going to be to do some work to the motor to get it to safely run that?
if anyone could answer for me id appreciate it =D

Hey mate,
Have a look through the faq first as there is loads of useful info on there regarding boosting. As for what boost you can run, everybody's engine is different with mileage etc so i don't think anybody's gonna say a set psi is safe for a standard block.
As for the ebay kit's if it's XS power most people on here will advise you not to bother as the manifold's constantly crack due to cheap materials and poor build quality. I heard the BOV's ain't too bad, think they are Tial rip off's.
So either way read the forced induction faq, use the search button for any question you have as chances are it's been asked before so saves you putting up posts and people moaning or not answering. That's how i started learning and still am.
Good luck
