turbo question

Default turbo question

my uncle can get me a small desiel turbo out of some old 4 cyl. truck, can i some way use that on my 92 honda accord lx. i know if i could i would haft to do every thing custom,but what the hell how many people can say that they have a desiel turbo on a gas engine. Or would it even be worth the hasle of doing it.

It would depend on the specs of the turbo if it would work well or not. Find out what the compressor and exhaust a/r's are as well as the type of flange. If it's not a t3 flange on the turbine housing, you'll probably have a hard time finding a turbo manifold to make it fit unless you go completely custom.

I'm currently using a turbo from a late 90's GM 6.5L diesel on my Prelude and it has worked great, but it's a standard t3/t04e, so it was easy to find a manifold and other parts (oil lines/fittings, etc..) to make it work.
