d16 turbo questions
I HAVE BEEN LOOKIN ON EBAY AND I SEE A LOT OF DIFFERENT TURBOS (T25, T3/T4, T304). MY QUESTION IS ARE THERE SPECIFIC TURBOS FOR MY ENGINE OR COULD I USE A TURBO FROM ANOTHER CAR LIKE A SAAB, SHELBY ETC..

Re: d16 turbo questions (mandre800)
YOU CAN USE ANY TURBO OFF OF ANY CAR. TURBOS ARE UNIVERSAL. BUT THE BEST IDEA IS TO FIND A TURBO WITH A T3 FLANGE ON IT SO YOU CAN EASILY FIND A MATCHING TURBO MANIFOLD WITHOUT HAVING TO CUSTOMIZE ONE.

to the original poster all turbos are pretty much universal but like the others said they have certain bolt patterns so you will need to find a manifold and downpipe to match it, my suggestion is to first TURN OFF THE CAPS, then search the archives and FAQs before you contemplate turboing your car.

IT'LL GET YOU DRUNK BITCH! YOU'LL BE ******* FAT CHICKS IN NO TIME!
Oh man, I've seriously seen that whole season too many times. Damn Comedy Central has replayed each epsiode like 5 times a day for what seems like the past two years.
Anyway, you'll have no problem finding a manifold for that turbo. That turbo has a standard flange, so just look for a manifold with the necessary head flange that is compatible with the following turbos:
T25, T28, T18, 14B, 16G, 18G, 20G
There are lots of choices. Greddy comes to mind.

Re: d16 turbo questions (mandre800)
Try looking in the FI Classifieds on this board for parts, once you lose trial status. Another good forum to check out is http://www.homemadeturbo.com GL with the build. And please stay away from any ss autocrome or knock off parts. Do it right the first time.

well i would then spend the money on a good manifold, like love fab, mini me, you can pick your flanges. and a t25 is to little, you will get bored with it very fast, no top end power at all... go with a .48/60 at least, i make full boost (15psi) at 3k on 3rd gear, descent pull and aight top end...
