Default Turbo question?

Hi.. i just bought a turbo kit and i had a few questions.. i have a drag 3 turbo kit with a with revhard manifold.. i was woundering if i can run my car for a few months untuned until i can get hondata.. and also someone told me to get a cometic head gasket about 3mm to lower compression.. do you guys think its safe? thanks in advance

no you cant just throw the turbo in there w/out some kinda fuel modifying system, i dunno if the kit comes with something but u need at least an fmu and keep the boost low, and i dunno about the headgasket but replacing yours before you turbo is a good idea, and you might as well install some ARP headstuds while the head is off.

yeah, maybe an FMU at low low boost would be ok. But get hondata asap.

yea the kit comes with a fmu.. does this mean i dont need injectors yet?

yea i would run fmu on super low boost, or just wait to install it all at once.

i plan on using fmu or a greddy bluebox to get me 150 miles to get hondata tuned

if you want to get a fuel pump, get a walboro from lightningmotorsports. for that low of boost, i wouldn't even put the 3mm headgasket in

I have a some buddies with those headgaskets and they told me biggest mistake they made but those are just my buddies...As for fuel setup i would run saturated rc 550's and walbro 255hp intank with that hondata ems you should make some nice numbers but all depends on who is your tuner.

if you need i shure some one in your town can hack your ECU and give
you the fuel and timing you need it not that hard
