Default Turbo problem

my buddy has a 98 integra turbo, he's had the turbo on there for a while, its a ls with a inlinepro mani, garrett t3/t4. He popped the hood the other day to check on the bolts ( they kept backin out ) and the center section of the turbo moves. all the bolts are tight but the the center section moves like your trying to clock it? What causes this? Is it bad ? and how can it be fixed?.

The turbo was rebuilt not to long ago

Were the bolts tight to begin with?? I'm only asking sence you said the turbo was recently rebuilt. Vibrations on a car can rattle anything loose or appart thats why whenever possible on things like turbos, wastegates, manifolds locking washers need to be used.

If there isn't enought space for locking washers than you need to find the ones that have dimples or like flares on them. I don't know what the hell they are called right now but those will work too, especially on housings.

yea they were tight , those werent the one's that used to back out , the turbo flange and wastegate flange were the ones that backed out. he fixed that problem anyways cause he got a stud kit from inlinepro so they have been fine, its just the center section that is now loose and we dont know y?

like i said all the bolts are on and tight, so i dont get it?

You could try some of these lockwashers on all your bolts.
