Default turbo placement problems?

Hi All, I have a 1988 prelude si(B20a5). getting ready to put an ihi rhb5 internal wastegate turbo on.
question is, I want to turn the turbine(exhaust) housing 180 degrees so the oil drain points down(which is what your sipposed to do right?) and I took the four bolts that hold this split ring and the housing wont budge. Has anyone had same problem? How did you fix it(besides getting a better turbo, car, blahblah lol)? I CAn use the turbo placement the other way but i was just tryin something out.
Second, does it really matter if turbo (exhaust side) bulk is placed down or up. WHat I mean is how the housing looks like a snail shell. If I install it the other way the housing will be on top of the neck that goes to the exhaust manifold flange. Make sense? Besides maybe stress will it have any other impact? Thanks all for your help.

I highly reccomend getting a bigger turbo, those RHB5's are very tinny and will seriously hert your power over like 6k. at the minimum if your going with a junk yard setup go with a t3 .42/.48 off a saab 9000 or better yet a super 60 off a murker,t-bird,mustang
