Hey guys, can I run nitrous with my current setup? If not, why not and if so, what setup and shot size is recommended? Thanks!

Current setup:

B18C1 Swap
T04E Turbo 12psi
Turbonetics Wastegate
Spearco Intercooler
Zex Plugs
Zex Pump
JE 9:1 Pistons
Vortec FMU (9:1)
Field SFC-VTEC

I don't plan on boosting past 12psi, not for now anyway.

I would think 12psi and nitrous with an FMU would be too much. I'd ditch the Zex plugs too...

12psi on a fmu is way to much anyway(IMO), **** nitrous, turn up the boost.

if you can imagine it you can do it...just not on that setup lol jk.

i knwo a guy w/ stock ls boosting 6 lbs w/ 60 shot dry...
you can do it but get a standalone first and turn down the boost until u get one.

You have a turbo. Why are you trying to make tuning more difficult? If you want mroe power turn up the boost. Unless you have a huge *** turbo to spool up and a built bottom end, don't worry about nitrous.

Your running 12psi with stock rods? Thats pushing limits by itself not to mention your running 12psi on hack. Get some rods, sleeves, injectors, a standalone, inline pump, and ditch the zex plugs for some NGK's and you can push 20+psi with ease.
