turbo muffler?
i'm looking for a good turbo muffler (axle back) for a b18c. i have to replace my existing one because it will not clear my swaybar; i need something shorter.
my exhaust as of now is 2 1/4 all the way back with a performance cat. should i just go to autobone or a local shop and buy something cheap or what? im not too concerned about the way it sounds since the engine will recieve a turbo soon.
all suggestions are appreciated.

Re: turbo muffler? (Wide Open Throttle)
ok, so you problem is this exhaust wont clear the swaybar... aftermarket stainless steel exhaust or what? What is the obstruction... The piping or the muffler itself? I say go to a muffler shop and see if they can modify it to fit. I am sure they can and if you need parts, i would hope that they'd have some.

Re: turbo muffler? (Sayang)
I want to get a 3inch muffler and have a muffler shop do the piping. I think I'm just gonna get a magnaflow. Anyone know the best place to get one at?

Re: turbo muffler? (Wide Open Throttle)
i can get you guys a nice Tsudo Turbo muffler
check it out on my site
http://www.cleartaillights.com/tsudo...al_exhaust.htm
Its the predator x style
they have a model that style that has a full 3 inch inlet all the way threw. It actual starts at 2.5 at the inlet if you cant afford to get the full 3 inch piping done and then you just cut the tapered section off and its al 3inch
I will try to get you guys a pic of the inlet i am taking about.

Re: turbo muffler? (NeXtLeVeL_TyPe_R)
i was on your site NeXtLeVeL_TyPe_R and the predator x style seem to have rivets on the end cap, does that mean that the end cap is removeable for rebuild. how long is the canister and how wide. could i remove the end cap and cut the canister shorter and rivet it back on. and what is the price for the predator x style.
thanks

Re: turbo muffler? (rice4life)
Here are the Specs on the muffler
Length - 19"
Width - 6.5"
The end is riveted but i dont see any means of removing it for a rebuild
The price of the muffler is 180 shipped
I will try to get you a pic of the inlet
