Turbo mount/bracket
Hey guys, Do any of you guys use a mount/bracket for your turbo b-series builds ? If so is it needed or are the exhaust bolts and studs enough to hold it ?
Personally i'v never heard of anyone mentioning one....

if you use a real manifold not a junk ebay aka ssautocrap manifold or obx manifold then you shouldnt need a brace. a well bult manifold will stay put and not crack and all you need to use is the stock studs and nuts
I have had several cars that needed to upgrade to arp studs even with high quality top mounts and ram-horns and quaity flex pipes on the downpipe...to me its cheap insurance to just get some arp studs when you put it all together....but to answer your question no brace even on larger frame t4 turbos....if you do brace make sure to use Heim joints
I did a few searches for the bracket a while ago.The only people I saw that had the brackets were Tony1 and a few guys from other forums.Try searching for some of Tony's older pics in the welding forum thats where I found them he builds some amazing stuff one of the best all around honda guys period.
