Turbo bracket mount...please help
I have a 95 Civic with a D15B and I want to install a turbo from a WRX, I will be custom fabbing a tubular manifold and I would like to support the weight of the turbo with a bracket or mount of some sort so it's not hanging off the manifold. The car doesn't have A/C so I'd like to use that big bracket with the tapped holes in it.
The problem is ther are no mounting areas on the turbo, the comp. is held by a large circlip and the centre cartridge/hotside is all one piece. Has anybody seen a good way to mount a turbo or have any good ideas?
Thanks
D.

The AC bracket bolts are way to the side. don't you have a nice 10mm hole right below the dipstick? Using both would be good if you can make a triangle.
as for the point on the turbo, how about a tab or 2 that goes under the turbine inlet flange mounting holes.

Yeah, I'm OK with the turbo being mounted off to the side a bit, what I'm looking for is a floating mount that supports the weight but still alllows for movement so the mani can expand and contract. Looking for pics of peoples setups or ideas would be great.
Can't really use rubber, turbo's are probably a bit too hot for that. Somebody must have mounted there turbo, if not it's no wonder everybody's SS autochrome mani's break, hang a turbo off any manifold built from anything thinner than Sch 10 and I'm sure it'll break. What's the deal? No pics or even ideas?
