Default turbo manifold paint

is there any paint out there that someone has used w/ success in painting the turbo manifold? i know they make 1400 degree paint. but will that withstand the heat of the manifold?

You do have to touch it up once in a while. I find the flat black to work and look the best.

ah i knew it

i cant decide if i shoud jet-coat everything

or wrap it

or paint it with the 1500 degree paint

i spent a grip of $ on my setup
i dont care about bling bling
but max rev manifolds look nasty (all brown and rusty looking )
i want my setup to look clean

i used the VHT... i'm sure i'll have to touch up every now and then... but it looks much better than those shiny manifolds

Hatchblack showed me this site...

http://www.performancecoatings.com/benefitdata.htm

Look at some of the pictures. If you don't like the bling look they also have a few other finishes that withstand 2,000 degrees F.

i went to home depot and bought high temp paint for like bbq grills, holds till about 1500, hasnt flaked, looks great. since my manifold is cats, i just wire brushed and sanded the excess rust dust, dryed it, then heated it a bit under a lamp, sprayed it a few times, and let it dry. worked great and the paint is intact. try that before a hundred $+ ceramic or that other crap
