Default Turbo LS Question?

Hey guys, this will be my first post on HT just need a few questions answered if you guys can help. First off im trying to decide which turbo to go with pending my build. Been doing quite a bit of research along with a few knowledgeable friends and they have both came up with either the 60-1 or 6262 turbo.

MY BUILD: 94 eg coupe dx
Ls head with crower 404 cams, crower valves & retainers.
Ls block with h beam eagle rods, srp 81.5mm pistons, LS trans, compression is 10:5:1, walboro 255 fp, 1000cc injectors, turbo manifold ill probably end up using is a inline pro topmount.

This is my first build and hope to make decent numbers somwhere close to 450hp+ even if i have to run race gas, any help at all is greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Jason

6262 is a very nice turbo. If you can afford the 6262 by all means i would say its a good choice. It will support your goal of 450 and have room to play. The billet wheel is a added perk with that turbo and it comes with a anti surge house is another plus. The flow rate on the trubo is very respectable.. It will make good power on the lower boost levels. I personally ran a 60-1 it me 23 psi to get 424 on stock b16 head of course but had to work it a little hard to get the power i wanted.

6262 is way overkill for your goal of 450whp, this is a 700hp turbo were talking about. Go with something smaller like a 5857, 5557, and yes if you want, you can go T04S with antisurge for what I hear is no additional cost.

F*** that get the biggest turbo you can possibly fit under the hood! No but for real the 6262 isn't bad. I personally don't like paying for things twice and if your going to go for more power later then by all means get it.
