Default turbo ls

if i turbo an LS is it going to put a big strain on the parts like timing belt etc?.. i would only boost to max 8psi

The timing belt will actually snap at exactly 9psi....so I'd be careful.

If tuning is perfect, your belt won't snap. I wouldn't be so sure about the radiator tho.

turbo got absolutly 0% to do with a timing belt. You might want to worry about the internal parts of the engine.

be careful though, ur air conditioning can break if u run too much boost..

The timing belt will actually snap at exactly 9psi....so I'd be careful.

If tuning is perfect, your belt won't snap. I wouldn't be so sure about the radiator tho.
Damn have you ever seen a radiator cap shoot through the hood? fawkin crazy! Yea dont boost too much above vtec and u are safe

You guys are horrible , don't listen to them, do yourself a favor and search or read this board like crazy to inform yourself.... these guys don't take kindly to newbies (which can be annoying at times) at first...

it depends... did you install the timing belt correctly? tie each end of the belt to each side of the intercooler. this should hold the intercooler in the proper position so you can boost up to 12lbs safely.
