Which turbo kit should i go with?
What are any known problems with the FMAX kit and why would you suggest NOT to get it if that's the case?
you have more luck wit the fmu and inline fuel pump that comes with the DRAG and REVHARD turbo kits.
this is a drag owned forum, didn't you know?
Seriously though, fmax's fuel solution is quite poor. The fmu, inline/intank setup works well enough for "standard" single digit boost. Of course everyone is going to tell you to go standalone and by all means do if you can.

Ummm... think about it... do you really expect to hear good things about DRAG on the fmax website? Obviously not since they are gunning for DRAG. Who doesn't claim to have the best "quality"? Don't believe everything you hear or read on a website... Do some research and decide for yourself... BTW the DRAG 3 kit not only DOES come with an air filter, but also has smooth polished/chromed metal piping between the filter and turbo, not rough, black dryer duct like fmax. DRAG 3 also uses a bigger more efficient TO4E turbo and has a bigger downpipe (2.5" vs. 2.25"). The FMU and pump supplied in the DRAG 3 is adequate for the intended boost levels and will at least have all cylinders running evenly. The fmax fuel "solution" is shady... additional injectors feeding the TB can lead to the closer cylinder running rich while the furthest cylinder leans out. Now you know why the majority of turbo'd GSRs on this board are powered by DRAG 3...
Once I got the intake tubing problems ironed out with FMAX I have been happy.
I went with a Hondata system. not with their MF2 and extra injectors. I had them make a system for me with a 2.5" downpipe and was still able to clear my a/c. My system runs extremely well. I would recommend it as long as you do it this way. If not and I had to do it all over again, I may have gone with the Drag or the Maxrev after seeing that one now.

which kit comes with ic piping that actually fits??
which kit doesn't make you drive your car to a muffler shop after the install??
which kit gives you the option of running a closed loop wastegate??
which kit actually makes an attempt (although i'll admit not a good one) to give you more precise fuel management??
the answer?? fmax
if you're that concerned with one cylinder leaning out.. which would be the #1 cyl btw
.. get the kit without the mf2 and get either a hondata or an fmu and pump.the kids on this site amaze me sometimes.
btw.. how many hp do u suppose your smooth metal intake pipe gives u?
