Alright so my plan is to purchase the cxracing turbo kit for the b18b1 for $799, I was going to get the kit since its cheap, then swap out the turbo, bov, and waste gate with name brand parts. But while waiting for my tax return to come have the kit on and running, does that seem like a bad idea?

I know the cxracing kit uses a eBay turbo, so I wasn't planning on keeping it installed for a long period of time (as I have a Garrett sitting in my basement that just needs the turbine swapped out for a smaller one (currently has a .96 a/r turbine)

If I were you id just save up. Don't rush... IMO..

Instead of buying everything twice just buy quality parts the first time,
What are you going to do after you swap out those thing, you prob won't get your money back if you try and sell them.
