Default Turbo Kit Install ---> Portland, OR

This is semi-OT, so move it if you must...I wont be offended ....but i currently have a Drag Gen3 turbo kit sitting in my garage waiting paitiently to be installed. Problem is, I can't install it. The buddy that was gonna help me, had to go on National Gaurd duty. The shops around here (wont name names) are not competent enough or have become very shady or charge you your first born child to install the darn thing. ANYWAYS lol...I am looking for someone to install this at my house, on a B18b engine in my civic. And please don't direct me to a shop, I know of all of them and don't take my cars there. Any takers? Or references? I'm pretty flexible on pay as long as its not the ludacris amounts wanted by the shops. Sorry...little bit bitter, no offense to anyone affliated with them, just personal opinion. But yeah, either reply here or PM me (if i even have that capability)...I want to get it done fast!

Thanks Guys!

yeah I was thinking about it....but i currently have no insurance on the car (no license for another month )...gresham is just too far away. Plus theyre fairly sketch, plus I just dont want to be involved with the petty crap that goes on if youre involved with anyone in the import scene of Portland

I'd also be happy to give you a hand but I am only going to be in town from Dec. 20 through 28. I am going to be staying in Wilsonville.

Let me know when you are planning on doing it and I'll be there if I'm in town!!

First question is what problems do you have with the shops in Portland? And if you did consider taking it to Gound Zero and dont have any insurance on the car it wouldnt cost that much to tow it there. How far out in Gresham are you, I'm in town for the weekend, I attend the U of O. And my friend from OSU is coming back tomorrow, (we both live in Gresham). I would ask him if he would be interested but he worked at Gound Zero over the summer, and still does when he has time. We are all close friends and don't want business taken away from the shop, so that might be another reason why he might not be interested. But let me know what you think, maybe we can come by and take a look at it.

B18C1: I live in Corvallis actually (attending OSU)...but my "home" is in tualatin----> I dont have a problem with GZ persay. just past things that have happend or rumors...whatever they may be, shops around make me a little uneasy letting them work on my car. I know they may know their stuff, but it is just personal preferance. JUst lookin for someone unaffliated to do the install for me, if u can help thatd be sweet!!! Thanks man

Hey man sorry I wasnt on all weekend. But yeah Im goin to U of O in Eugene and my friend that works at GZ is goin to OSU, so he is in Corvallis too. We are both from Gresham. But if you dont want anyone affiliated with a shop I dont think I can help you, cuz all my friends that work on cars pretty much all roll with GZ, sorry.

Also, as far as I know GZ is the best place to take your car in Portland. However, you will no doubt pay more at a shop than you will if a private party does it.
