Turbo Interchangeability
Hi guys,
Had my Turbonetics T3/T4 smoking as it blew the turbine seals, so I ordered new turbo from treadstone performance while I send this off for warranty, which is another Turbonetics T3/T4 BUT WITH larger turbine A/R ratio (broken original is 0.48 A/R and newly ordered is 0.63 A/R). Just wondering, both turbine flanges are T3, would the new turbo fit into my current setup?? (i.e. direct swap, without modification to downpipe etc)
It has bigger A/R, just very curious if the location of the exducer flange is different such as either more towards the front or lower etc.
