Default turbo integra problem

I have 2001 gsr with t3t4 turbo, front mount, vafc, 450 dsm injectors, walboro 255 fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, ACT 2600 pressure plate with a competition clutch 6 puck sprung hub disc, Act 12.5 lbs flywheel, full 2.5 inch custom mandrel bent down pipe, testpipe, 2.5 inch apexi n-1 exhaust. I don't have a FMU. And heater sensor on the front o2 sensor is throwing a code. Haven't gotten around to replacing it.

The problem is that when I'm under boost the car cuts out anywhere from 5500 to 7200. It feels like I'm hitting fuel cut or something. I have talked to a friend of mine that works at a acura dealership and he said to get a 12:1 fmu and put my stock injectors back in.
I was hoping to get some other opinions on the situation. Could I just turn the fuel pressure up and take it out of the low end with the afc? Do I need a bigger fuel rail? Should I get a 4:1 fmu and keep the 450cc injectors?
Please let me know what you think I should do. Or if yu have encountered this kind of problem before, what did it take to fix it?

My fuel pressure is at 58-60 psi. The low end on narrow throttle is at -26 and goes up in 3's across the board. THe high end of narrow throttle starts at -15 and goes up in 2's til it reaches 0. The high end of WOT starts at -12 and goes up in 2's.

Should I bump the timing back a few degrees?

U might want to get the FMU and have the AFC tuned on a dyno...with that setup and from what you are sayin your settings are on the AFC, I think that its falling on its face from runnin rich...

You will always have a somewhat rich setup in that range with an AFC but a dyno will help to tune out as much as possible...

If you can afford it, go with Hondata...you will have a very smooth transition from vacum to boost...

Its really hard to say...obviously each car is different and therefore you cant definitively say what your settings should be w/o getting the car on a dyno...

you might want to lower your fuel pressure... the walbro seems to increase the pressure to a undesirable point if you have the high pressure one.

Im having the same problem. Havnt fixed it yet though. so I really cant help. I had mine tuned on a dyno with the vafc. They set my low narrow starting at -33 and goes all the way to - 7, but I think every cars different. I still think Im running to rich, im getting like 100 miles to a tank of gas. what is you gas mileage like? Sounds like we have about the same set up. We did set my timing back a few degrees. As far as the fmu goes, my car ran smoother with it, but putting that vafc and 450 cc injectors in pulled a good 20 horses. Just out of curiosity what turbo kit do you have? If I figure mine out Ill let you know.
