Default turbo install clearance problems. PLEASE HELP!!

ok, ive got a 92 DA with a 95 JDM b18b and i started my install today. xspower mani (yeah i know they are crap but this manifold has been well braced by the former owner.). AIResearch T3 from a thunderbird. Downpipe off of a DC. ok i have a problem. both the downpipe and the charge pipe coming off the turbo are hitting the crossmember. ok my idea for the down pipe is to cut it as soon as it turns down and once everything else is installed i will drive VERY conservativly to the muffler shop to get the DP fabricated. does this sound ok? also what in the hell should i do about the charge pipe? the exit from the turbo is like 3 inches from the crossmember and i dont know what the hell to do. should i just notch the **** out of the crossmember or should i get some rubber hose like radiator hose or something to make a sharp turn? help me please.

Cut the crossmember. Anything relevant to the turbo is more important than something structural.

would a decent welding shop be able to put a sizable notch in it and restrengthen it?

check out g2ic.com Its dedicated to DA Integras. I believe someone there got a 3" dp to fit without any cutting. I too have a DA integra and I know space is an issue. My advise would be to mount the turbo so the compressor is on the driver side and get a half sized rad or you can also drill a 3" hole and bring the charge pipe in front of the tire on the driver side and then around under the bumper.

I was trying to be sarcastic about the above comment.

yes i realize that you were being sarcastic, thank you for clearing it up wise ***. i was serious about wether yall thought that a competent welder could notch the crossmember and then brace it to make it just as strong as it was before. any way ive got most of it figured out and taken care of. i should be done with the install tomorrow.
