O.K., so I have a buddy who says that his turbo is a Garrett 60trim. I went to his house to look at it before I bought it and the compressor housing didn't have the insignia on it. It looks really close to the one I already have on my set-up. There is a serial badge on the housing and it reads:
TURBOCHARGER
TYPE: T04E
PART NO. T3/T4
SERIAL NO. KD0805662
It also has A/R .50 on the side as well, along with M12 kind of like the one I have(different placement). I searched all over Google, and all that I could find was a site that had all of the badges from the different manufacturers that used Garrett turbos. My question is: Is this a real Garrett or a fake?
One other question. On the turbo that I have there was some oil on the exhaust fins when I re-installed it. It was stored with the exhaust housing down in the box. Is this indicative of bad seals or something like that? All help will be appreciated. I will have some pics up soon. Thanks.

And also, I have this map sensor laying around. I've also been searching this for a while. What is it,1, 2, or 3 bar?
The turbo is a chinese knockoff, not suitable for anything but a few hours of use & few trips down the strip. The oil doesn't indicate bad ring seals, since there's an open gap it can slowly seep through over time. Burnt oil indicates bad seals.
As for the sensor, I think that's the wrong number to look at. Look at this: http://www.robietherobot.com/storm/mapsensor.htm
