Turbo GS-R Tranny ?
My 1997 gsr is haveing a turbo kit put on very soon, i'm also haveing my block worked on (pistons, rods, ect.) planning on boosting 10 - 14 psi.
Right now my stock tranny 2nd gear is grinding bad, 3rd also but only when power shifting. so i might as well get this all taken care of at the same time (save a little money and alot of time)
Is it even worth it to have the tranny fixed (syncro's?) or should i just look into a new one.
Now with me being turbo i've spoke with a few trubo gsr owners who have ls trannys in there car and love it because of the long gears. Is this true? Because i can get a ls tranny for dirt cheap, or should i just go with the gsr tranny.
please reply because i'm haveing this work done asap.

LS tranny if you are gonna swap it out, its the "not dumb thing" to do since itll let you use the turbo the way it was intended wont over boost and will hit good boost
