turbo exhaust leaks
I just put in my turbo (again). The Fmax kit has no gaskets for any of the connections. They say to use copper Permatex. That **** just burns right off.
I bought some high tech high temp gasket material and threadlocker and i put a bit of it between my turbo/DP and wastegate/DP and the slipjoint to the DP connections and let it cure overnight like supposed to. When I started it up, I have a small exhaust leak between the manifold and turbo flanges. I was able to boost to 6psi with no problem. Should I ignore the leak? Its a real bitch to take the hole turbo out again to try and reseal that joint.
What do others do??

Re: turbo exhaust leaks (GruvyTune)
I not running any gaskets on my turbo (except exhaust manifold to head) and there are no leaks at all....the carbon seals up any pinhole leaks.....
