HELP PLEASE!!!! I THINK I HAVE TURBO/EXHAUST LEAK
what is the best way to seal where the manifold and turbo connect and where the turbo and down pipe connect >>>>? i used Mr.gasket ...gaskets but they blew out already.... i was told to seal the area with that orange high temp sealent rtv or rvt whatever that is ... any one have any advice/input???? thanks

I used a metal gasket for the manifold to turbo connection (apt turbo has them) and no gasket on the downpipe and they sealed fine

I didn't use any gaskets on my setup. As long as the surfaces are flat they will seal fine. From my first turbo setup(that used gaskets) I found them to just be a PITA, and just another thing to go wrong.
I do remember the Manifold-Wastegate gasket being the worse

so metal on metal will be fine as long as they are flat???? i think iam still gonna seal with the rtv stuff though too.........

yup and they sell the "firering" tial gaskets that don't blow out like the ones that come with the tials
