Turbo evaluation for a buddy's project...
Since I'm not up to date on what's best to run FI Civics, I thought I'd run this by all of you.
My friend has a Civic, not SI.. If I remember right it's a B16. Question is, he wants to do the turbo now, and I'm thinking his best bet is a T25 setup, like the DSM's have. Those turbo's can hold a decent amount of boost and spool fast, and he really won't need top-end anyway.
Since we're starting with the manifold, it will kind of determine what turbo we run. Preferably I'd like to get the right turbo pinned down before he buys the manifold and turbo. As far as the future of the car goes, I'm not sure which way he will go. He might end up just sticking with a low boost daily driver, since he's got the motorcycle for fun, or he might decided to go crazy with it. Regardless, I'm open to suggestions/advice from the experts on here. Engine swaps are out of the question. Thanks.
