Default Turbo Dyno Graph

a graph of my friends car dynoed at IB

specs:
boost at 1 bar

GSR block, 82mm JE pistons, about 9-9.2:1 comp. stock b16 head, type r cams. modified hks exhaust manifold. t3/to4e .50 a/r not sure what trim. hondata tuned

car went 12.7 @ 108mph in a full bodied/interior 94 integra

i think jeff couldve have extracted a couple of more horses with some sprocet tuning but he didnt touch them at all. the strange part was we tried also at 19psi and it only made about 20 hp more with the same torque output.

anyhow, that is the old setup, this is the new setup

max rev manifold&dp , t3/to4e 57trim, .63 a/r, jg edelbrock manifold

now hoping to make close to 350hp also at 1bar and about 400 at 1.5 bar

not an expert* but it seems like it falls off up top. like the turbo might be out of "steam"

hmm was that on slicks or radials? With 300 to the ground I would've figured 115 traps.

on 24" tall slicks. 0-60 of 1.8 im guesing car with driver is around 2750lbs.

jeff had the a/f right around 11.8-12.0

to put in perspective, there was another b20 turbo integra that same run which went about 12.5 @ 109 with a 0-60 of 1.8 as well but running 24.5x9x13's. fastest honda/acuras for that day were in the 12.5-13.0 range.

Most LS' put down that with a bit of work @ 12 PSI.

I agree with coverFI. I think you need a better-flowing/bigger turbo.

I put down 317whp but your graph looks alot better than mine. You have more hq and tq than I do almost everywhere. My trap was 115mph with a 2.1 60'

thats your problem. those slicks are too tall. A 23" would prolly work perfect but u might do better with a 22" over the 24.5.

yes that makes a lot of sense. after looking at the graph, at around 7k-8k the torque is a lot less then what it has a peak.

your torque is falling off a bit more then usual. a little bit is normal. THe reason for the low trap speed is definitly those tall slicks. try out some 22" and I bet u will run alot more mph. I heard someone was coming out with a 23" but im not sure when/who.

looks like you need a stage 3 wheel and a bigger exhaust trim - or maybe get rid of the "modified hks exhaust manifold" or whatever that may be...

i made 365whp with a .50 series drag kit...
