a friend of mine told me it looked like it needed a piece for the downpipe. but idk much about turbos.

i meant do i need a flange to connect the downpipe to the turbo. or just the downpipe and a clamp?

it looks like it used a vband flange, but doesnt look like thereis any room to clamp it

make sure you take the housing off before welding it haha

what the hellll, i never seen anything like that. IF that is a Vband, it is DEF different.

No. you're just not used to seeing the turbine housing before the v-band is welded. ONly about 10 percent of the v-band turbine housings that are ever made are actually cast as one piece. The rest are welded. That is what it looks like before it is welded on.

the part posted as the vband is the wrong one

3" steel weld flange, VBand. Weld directly to T04 turbine housing with cast in groove to convert complete turbine discharge to standard 3" V-Band

so just weld that flange on then it should be good to clamp up to the downpipe?
