probally too big... a t25/t28 would be much better suited for that motor..unless it's really built up (even then many people stay on smaller turbos) for ex. I'm using the td04 15g greddy turbo.

what are you going to be using the car for??? and what do you want out of it? also check out the SOHC boost thread:

please do not give this man wrong information . the turbo you are probably talking about is the 57 trim t3/t4 thats comes in the ebay kits (thats waht the advertisment sounded like that you said), this turbo has been proven time and time again to be great on a d series up to about 450whp. you will be spooling later than the smaller t3's and the t25 turbos (i spool 10 psi by about 4500 on my d15b vtec with my 57 trim), but you will be making great top end power for when you want it and be able to stay out of boost when you don't.

but most people are after a broad power curve, not primarily top end , I was only suggesting what most people are after since he didn't give any real info...for trhe second thread in a row

a 50 trim would be a little bettewr but IMO a smaller turbo is funner/better for a daily driven car that occasionally sees a drag strip...if it's a drag only car...going with the bandwagoiners of bigger is better, throw a t88 on it

i agree with you that a 50 trim would give you a little bit better spool time and powerband but its not going to be alot. either one of these turbo's will work well.
