Turbo del sol Qs
So im goin to turbo the del sol i just picked up.....itll have a z6 and im lookin to spend 3000ish doin it. My goals are 13's in the quarter. How many people are getting this from a kit? If i go custom will a t25 be enough of a turbo to get me there if not how much larger do i need to go? I figure i can put the kit together for 1500 ish internals for 8 or 900 and tune it and i should be set does this seem about right?

All you need is with your turbo is some good tuning. My Stock Apexi powered D16z6 kit tuned on Uberdata with 22" slicks went 13's

Hey that's a very nice del Sol right there. I will soon have a sick set up as well. I've built the motor with wiseco pistons and eagle rods, ported and polished the head with a three angle valve job, custom manifold, sc34 turbo, and Microtech Tunning. The only thing I have left is the @$%@ IC piping. I don't want to spend $500 that everyone here (orlando) is charging me to do it. If I could get some ideas from you I would really appreciate it.

Instead of making a new thread with new topic i'm glad i found a thread like this with maybe some bias thoughts for the Del sol. I have a question on a del sol and it's capabilities this is not a thread to flame at all before flaming notice i'm a 01' member
with a broad view of all hondas ok.

-stock engine internals/stock suspension/wheels and full interior and weight if not more added a bit
this person thinks that his car can beat my CRX B16 i offered to run him for $20 and cheeseburger to be funny about it, since hes in PA. But he says its not worth it. I say step up or shut up. He's a everyday using h-t member but dont want to disclose his name, this is not about making him look bad on here but to prove a point in my mind if he wont race.

Assuming that both cars have equally skilled drivers, a turbo D series EG will walk any bolt on (mildly modded) B series EG.. Just look at the TQ #'s each produce..

I dont think it matters, My friend has a 91 CRX si with a jdm b16 and the basic bolt ones. My turbo d15b sol pulls 2-3 cars on him in a 40-120 race. I think your overlooking the fact that a b16 is still just a 1.6 just like the d16. In stock form, both only produce around 110tq...
