The rods aren't up to it, but you can maybe run 5psi with a lot of timing pulled. Not very safe though. I was looking into turbo'ing an EW1 in my Ex's car, but it wouldn't take the abuse without a lot of money being dumped into it. Just wait for the swap.

Boost that ****!

you should be able to get some power out of it for a little while.
Don't boost over 8PSI until you got that B swap ready. That is unless you have a digi cam and want to make web history by intentionally blowing it up.

Boost the D.

he doesent care if he blows it
depending on what happens when it blows your turbine will eat some piston matter.

i have been boosting D15 motors for years now.. i have only used stock junkyard d15's and they take it like nothing.. i have ran 5-12 psi .. i run 5-8 daily .. .. the motor should last a long time.. like..4-6 months.. .. if your are going to get crazy.. get some fuel stuff and run 9-10 psi.. it will take it.. also.. try to get a Si cam .. and also.. i Run d15 with SI intake maifold... if you are going to boost.. make your u at least are running multi port fuel injecton
