Turbo with A/C?
I'm building a LS for my EJ8 for boost. I have a complete Garrett T3/T4 kit and I know if I use that one, I'll have to remove my A/C. I'm looking for suggestions for ways to keep A/C in my car. I'm trying to avoid having to fab up new pipes. Does anyone know of any companies that make a kit that allows you to keep your air conditioning.
PeakBoost makes a AC/PS compatible top mount.
I had a 2000 civic with a GSR with ac, but the kit was a one-of.
It was a stainless shorty with a .57 trim garret.
I suggest you get a turbo blanket because unless you get the top mount you're going to place the turbo literally in the condenser fan shroud.

The fact is there are several options to keep AC in your car. The easiest way is by going to the Marketplace and searching for AC Compatible manifolds. At that point, if you need more info, either ask the builder or post a question here...
Like said above there are lots of companies in the marketplace on here... I have an A/C compatable quick 4 manifold and DP with closed loop dumptupe for a GREAT price from Spoolin performace and there was Awesome turnaround time for a custom setup.
There are several main companies. Peakboost, AFI, Spoolin' Synapse Motorsport to name a few. YOu don't need top-mount to use such a small turbocharger

Its not really a small turbo, maybe i'm reading writing something wrong but this thing is about the same size if not bigger than my A/C compressor.. definitely bigger around. If that is small for a stock LS, I want to know your secret lol.
FOr a topmount manifold, a 57 trim is a bit small. Compressor cover size does not necessarily correlate with the wheels that are used in the cartridge. Its like judging a book by its cover
