Default turbo build help

i have a 90 civic hatch and im planing on swaping a z6 i would like to get it into the 400whp range. what mods (pistons, rods, cams, etc) can i do for around 1000$ without the price of the turbo ofcourse?

you can do rods and pistons for 700 range. cams wont be able to happen for that price with the valve springs but upgrade those to gets oem more rpm out of it for a decent sized turbo

You could get pistons rods and cams depending on price. As for cams u would need a set to work with the stock valve springs unless you want to fork out another $200+

i was planning on running a gt2871r turbo and i want to push around 20 psi and still be a daily driver. i was the factory p28 and it probalby wont work to well what should i use?

the p28 will work with ectune or hondata or neptune
