Default what cams should i use

im building an ls motor and im going to turboand i have wiseco turbo pistons should i match the matching turbo cams from wiseco? this is my first build and i was wondering if i had to match all the stuff from the cams down to the rods from wiseco or can i get stuff from other companys?

I don't think Wiseco offer cams for our Honda engines...?

yeah i just realized what i said i ment to say rods and and what i ment for cams i ment the crower 402t turbo cams with the springs and the titanium retainers should i use those together and should i get the wiseco rods?

Depends upon your power needs. You don't really need them until you're going over 400whp.

crower 403 N/A cams only for a straight LS motor on boost.

well im shooting for around like 450-500 whp hopefully so your saying since i am going above 400 i should get them right?

with 403's yes if you have a decent sized turbo i dont see why not, and get a complete valvetrain and cam gears and degree everything

whouldnt the turbo cams be better for a turbo aplication tho because thats what they were made for? im not trying to argue with anyone im just wondering thanks to everyone tho for the help so far

No one on honda-tech uses a turbo cam. Just all motor cams. More air in more air out.

usually turbo cams are made for cars that low V.E. and came turbo from the factory. thats not the case with our hondas. thats most just stick to N/A cams
