first turbo setup!!
well ive got most of the parts bought for ls/vtec my turbo setup:
2000 gsr head/ported and polished
1999 b18b block/line bored
wiseco 9:1 compression pistons
eagle rods
arp rod bolts
garrett t04e-13 turbo
rev hard stage2 manifold
hks ssqv b.o.v.
tial 38mm wastegate
spearco piping
spearco intercooler
RC 750cc injectors
custom 3" downpipe
turboXS dual stage boost controller
and still got the rest to go, along with a good tuning job i havent really settled for a hp goal yet, i plan to run max boost of 12lbs and min boost of 6lbs, is there anything else in perticular that i might need to help run safely?? or if there's anything that needs to be changed please let me know, its prob gonna be around the middle of january before the car gets put together.... and also is there any well know tuners in the N.C. area?? thanks, Trav

don't go by boost levels go by HP levels. if you were only going to do that there would have been no reason to get forged internals and all that good stuff. i would say do 300 low boost and 400 high boost

Only scary part in that is if you break a rod and ruin your head. Then you need to rebuild a block and maybe replace a head.

Man U FTW
Well my setup is a little different than yours, but my first setup was fairly similar and that made 275whp on stock internals @9psi.
My new setup:
CoreyR T3 topmount
T3/60-1 .63ar
3" DP and exhaust
2.5" charge piping
JRC 8" IC
Tial 38mm WG
Tial 50mm BOV
RC550cc injectors
CromePro on chipped P28
Tuned by DB Performance
