Default Turbo on a budget And help with part selection.

I want to turbo my d16y8. I know that a homemade setup is going to be the cheapest but i want to get a kit and I was looking at a greddy kit. I hear that the new turbos they are using in their kits are a lot strong then before and can handle 15 psi i think. I wanted to know what would be a good yet inexpensive intercooler. The greddy intercooler costs 650 or 700 where can i get one that is just as good and not as expensive? I think that the spearco ones are cheaper, but are they just as good? Also what is a good clucth to go with? I was looking at a clutchnet stage 2. I can't remember how much they cost though i think like 300 or 400. What would you recommend? I was also looking at the HKS SSQ BOV. Do you think that is a good choice. I want to run my turbo setup with stock internals until i can afford for a upgrade, but i also want to run the highest psi that i can. My goal is to run mid to high 13's on my 98 civic 4dr. Any other information would be greatly appreciated.

that depends on how much power u want to get in the long run. but since your considering on buying a NEW Greddy kit my opinion is you might as well go custom, plus as far as value to performance ratio custom is the way to go. keep on looking around especially at our FI classifieds and also ebay. good luck

Definatly go custom that way you can choose the parts you want and need. Definatly go with a spearco intercooler over a greddy intercooler imo..
