Whats the break in period on a fresh turbo for a GSR?

 

There isn't really a break in. Just drive it carefully first to make sure the install was correct. No loose hoses, etc.

After a few hundred miles, you'll notice that the turbo will spool a little quicker and be a little louder.

 

so there is no initial break in period like there is on a brand new car? (like stay off of vtec for 1000 miles or something)?

 

In my instructions, it says for a break-in of 300-500km. Not sure on you.

 

a buddy of mine that works at drag told me "there is no break in period required for our kits"

 

Yeah, just take it easy the first couple of days and make sure everything's working properly. Definately make sure your getting oil to the turbo.
