Any Interest in a Bracket for Spark Racing Turbo Manifolds??? Click
I have currently designed and am going to be making the first bracket system that will work with any turbo that is mounted facing either way for the Spark Racing Manifold. Will mount directly to where turbo mounts to flange against the motor and bolt up to the A/C mount. I have looked over the design very carefully keeping tollerances of the metal expansion due to heat, turbo weight and most important the torque of the engine on the manifold itself due to the weight of the turbo being suspended. I just wanted to see how many people out there would be interested in a bracket that would probably tig welded steel and could accomidate all turbos on this manifold? From James.

you know products are **** when people start designing little "fixits" to prevent the product from breaking.
Good idea man, but I dont know why anyone would still buy a meng/sparq/obx/mass produced pos...
Good luck to ya...post some pics after youg et it all figured out.
ps...you might want to sell your idea to the previously mentioned companies...

I cant comment about the companies, but in terms of the bracket, Spark Racing has designed their manifolds to work with a t3/t4 turbo and also have the compressor side facing the passanger side of the car instead of the drivers. For me I have a t-60 facing the drivers side so there is not only added weight involved but there is allot of added torque on the runners due to the turbo hanging out farther from the engine. The manifolds are good for the price and also for working with a t3/t4 but there still are allot of people out there that are using the manifold for something other than what is was designed to do, like me, and need a brace to support their situation.

That could be an appropriate statement, but for the quality of the manfilold and the price a fix that is only about $100 is well worth it to me and I think allot of others instead of buying a new manifold at who knows the cost.
