turbo/b18b built up
HELLO, I WAS WOUNDERING WHAT WOULD BE THE MOST EFFECTIVE AND EFFIECIENT WAY TO BUILD A B18B FOR TURBO? WHAT WOULD I NEED TO DO TO THE MOTOR FOR ABOUT 20LB OF BOOST. I HAVE 4K TO WORK WITH, I ALREADY HAVE THE MOTOR. IT WILL BE GOING INTO A SLEEPER EG CIVIC SEDAN. HOPING TO RUN ABOUT 12SEC IN A QUARTER. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT (ESPECIALLY FROM THE PROS).
Well I'm not sure if that 4k includes the turbo kit but if not , some forged internals, bigger injectors, block guard, and some sort of EM (like hondata, Uberdata etc..) and some good tuning.
If you manage to run 20psi for under 4k (safely), let me know how you did it. Say the turbo kit is 3k, hondata+injectors+fuel pressure regulator+3bar= say 1k, tuning say 300, sleeves say 1500 (safety), rods and pistons 800=$7600 (not to mention any labor for pistons and such.
yeah do a search and i say that $4000 is a good amount. unless u have connect with parts and or buying used but hey good luck with that one

you can go low 12's on a stock b18a/b its not hard just get a good turbo setup and a good tune
