Default Turbo b16

Hey I have a B16 Hatch back that i'm about to turbo charge.... I plan on running 8 - 10 psi... The motor is BONE STOCK.. My question is how many people out there is running a stock b16 around these boost levels and how much HP and TQ is it putting out...
Also how long has the car been together..
This is what I have..
Neukin manifold
Neukin 3" DP
SC6152E
550 RC injectors
and Chrome...
Whats your opinion on this set up.. Too much lag, good, or let me know..
I will Be sleeving a GS-R block next season.....
So I want my car to last this season.. I run (or plan on) my car HARD....
It is a Daily Driver, But not my Daily Driver.. Get what i'm saying..

THANKS.............

you are getting it tuned so you can run more boost than that on a stock b16 block and not hurt any thing but you left out some things like walbro 255lph fuel pump front mount of course , you would not have to sleeve a block unless you plan on running high horse power like in the 500s and better but alot of people done it reliably with out sleeves but for safety reasons you can use them of course , and I doubt you will have that much lag.

I have the same exact setup except i'm running Hondata. At 8psi you should be around 260whp depending on who tunes your car. I drive mine daily with no problems, spool is slower than a small t3/t4 but it's not horrible. Just keep the revs up.

i have a similar setup but on a stock gsr and with hondata. ive put close to 10,000 miles (a lot of them are hard miles), and i have 240whp with 6.8psi. It was tuned for reliability not hp, so it should last a long time.

if u plan on running your car "HARD" then the only thing i would suggest is a good tune and if you can spare the money building your block......so many turbo hondas just slap the turbo on and expect to make crazy numbers. if you just sleeve your block and upgrade your rods and pistons to low compression with rings you can easily push 20 psi of boost.

That's retarded. He will be fine on the stock motor. 300whp no problem on a good tune. No need to spend $2,000 on sleeves/rods/pistons for his goals.

My car already has with a 255 walbro pump. An intercooler is of course in the mix thats like.. "DUH"???.. I didn't (everyone can clearly see) list out everthing.

My buddy has the same set up (GS-R) the car runs hard but the boost comes in at 5200 (8psi).. He uses chrome... Turbo = GT35R like. but not ball bearing..

lets keep it coming.. THANKS

a guy i know has a totally bone stock b16a with a t3/t4 pushing 340whp (about 14 psi i think), very well tuned and high strung, but seems to be lasting.

Around 5k I hit full boost. I can't say 100% since I have no tach, this is just what I remember from when it was on the dyno. When it does spool though it's nothing like a little t3/t04 like I was running on my old car. It hits hard and the turbo gets real loud and the car pulls hard to redline

i just put in a .7 bar spring in my gsr and the power difference from 6.8psi to 10.2psi is insane. if i hit over 8psi while rolling in 3rd, the tires break loose. sc61 is crazy!

No, sc61 spools faster and flows better, but size wise they are similar.
