I would pick the GT28 out of those. In fact, I think it's the best autox turbo there is for a Honda.

One thing to keep in mind with regards to autox... For a FWD, anything beyond about 230 whp is more hinderance than help. I've been autoxing for 5 years, 1 of those with a turbo. I absolutely love it and I'll never go back to NA as long as I'm autoxing hondas. It's the *torque*...

Good luck, and have fun!

I am working on the same project.. we're looking for around 200whp out of a d16. More is better, but that's what we're working towards. I haven't decided what turbo is better, a T25/T28 or a T3. I am leaning more towards the T3 as the additional lag may not be signifigant.

As far as staying N/A goes, there is a fully done and standaloned/tuned CRX in our region.. he spent about three times what our entire car and project is worth for relatively unimpressive results. Boost it.

I use a T25 on a d16z6 for auto-x. It rules. It pulls hard above 2500 so I don't ever have to down shift into 1st. All i need to do is punch it and let the azenis pull me out of evey corner. I love the response of this tiny little snail. I probably make less than 180 whp/tq but I can accelerate out of hairpins with the best of them. i miss cones already, hurry up spring!
