Default turbo and apex controller?

ok say your doin a basic turbo setup, can you safely run a apex vafc and a avcr, and make pretty good power, and keep it safe, im just tryin to get an idea what im getting myself into, cuz im thinking about picking up a s2000 and goin turbo, and didnt really want to go standalone

thanks any and all info whould be great

also, low compression head gaskets, do they exist for the s2000 yet? do they work/ help? or do you think they can run safe with stock compression?

better off going w/ standalone unless u have unlimited amount of $$ to buy new pistons or new engine if u blow it up.
VAFC wont be needed or the AVCR if u get standalone.
plus u wont be tempted to turn the boost up.

be smart about it and do it right the first time.
