ok heres the deal ive been offered a garret t25 turbo.
i have a b16 right now and was looking into getting a turbo as it was so i need advice - is this a good turbo for a b16? how long till id hit full boost with it? and how hard it would be to complete the kit (as in how hard would it be to find the manifold and other things and how expensive)
i honestly dont know much about turbos, other then how they work, so any and all info you can tell me would be a hugh help and very appreciated

t25 is really small so you would hit full boots really quick, there will be very little turbo lag. im a newb about everything but im pretty sure that t25 is the smallest turbo you can get. as far as putting a kit together with a t25, i dont think it would be too hard. check out the FI forum.

edit: i was thinkin about puttin a kit together for my car and using a t25, just to make my car more fun to drive. i know that with my car (d17) and a t25 i could make about 175 whp on about 7 lbs of boost.

if you get a t25 your car will be quick, not necessaraly fast, but that of course depends on tuning.

T-25 imo is too small for the b16. You'll run out of steam up top. And also, there are smaller turbos than the t-25...I would suggest for your setup a t3/t04b. That's my opinion.

 

how much is a t25 worth new in other words if i can get it for some stuff sitting around my house is it worth it if only to sell it

 

how much would this turbo be worth if i were to sell it (more then $200)
