Default which turbo?

Hey guys, I have a question. My brother has a 93 hatch si, b16a, 8.5 pound fidanza flywheel, exedy clutch, hks hiper cat back, aem intake, and for now a cheap obx header. My question is which turbo will be the best for his car? Which is a quick spooling turbo that will produce great power, when the engine is built and pushing 15-20 psi? How about Rev Hard t3/t04 stage 2 turbine? Thanks for any comments, much appreciated. P.S. With whats done internally to his engine he prolly shouldnt run more than 8 psi, right? Again, thanks!

If you arnt planing to go HUGE on HP numbers then I would run a td05 greddy turbo or a t3/t4 hybrid turbo. you said with what is done to his engine he shouldnt run more then 8psi? if its a stock block and head and you tune the car CORRECTLY and drive it safe and with care and not like a dumbass and boost it everytime you excelerate your car..... then 10-12psi would be fine.

Stock block 10-12 you'd be cool if your not boosting it all day long. If your bro is **** to driving like an A-hole then he might want to stick with low boost or building the motor. As far as turbo. A t3/t4 57 trim with a .48 is a great "daily driver" turbo. Has a pretty quick spool and makes good power throught the band in that 10-20psi range. 20psi is the upper limit of that turbo on a 1.6. If he maybe someday wants to make more power then a .63 AR would be a good way to go. Also the greddy td05 18g's are nice turbos as well.

300-350 t3/t4 57 trim and a .48 ar can easily make 300-350 and will spool quicker than a .63 ar.
