Default Turbo+ 11:1 compression.

ok, Im really looking into the possiblity of getting a turbo very soon. I just had my motor rebuilt, port/polish, ITR pistons, crower dual springs, ti retainers, rebalanced, venom intake manifold, AEM rail, 280cc injectors, ACT clutch, new valves, guides, ect ect.

Anyways Im looking into getting a turbo. What is going to be the deal with my compression. Its around 11:1. Im very worried about this, anyone have any opinions aside from using a hondata?

your boost will be limited. i just burnt up some rings on 8psi, so ill be dropping compression.

more careful tuning will be required. as integrated said, boost will be limited. I would look into cometic headgaskets

you could do it without either, although both are always a good idea.

should have no problems at 6psi, but you wont stay there long. boost really is an addiction. its hard to say no with all that power just a twist of the profec away.........

i think you will be fie at 6 psi. But like mentioned you will need more careful tuning. But even though you are only running 6 psi you will still make some really good numbers.

Somone, cant remeber who, had an itr with teh drag kit at 6 psi and he was somewhere around 280-300 whp. It was a member on HA.net, Hella Yella it think his name was.

good luck

high compression... hmmm like everyone says... limited boost potential because of the possibility of blowin your motor.
