This season im done playing games, i want to push my b20 to limits no one else has but i want to do it safely if it is at all posible. As of now me and my friend tuned the car its rich (11:1) as crap and timing is pulled like mad. I am upping my fuel injectors to 780's-880's so fuel wont be the problem. Im worried about keeping the cylinder pressures low enough to not break the rods/sleeves under the stress. I want to push 15-16 psi (350ish whp safe tune) but i may just go nuts and see how much we can do. Now just to be safe at 15-16 what would you guys do for timing my base time is set for OBD0 at 18. At 15-16 my whp goal is very low for my setup so i want it to be safe and last at least the season. Please dont answer 1 degree a pound or .75, thats not tuning thats base lines . Im just not very experianced yet thanks guys.
My current timing is roughly .35-.4 to 10 psi then about .8 a pound for safety, i was only running 11 psi and at the time only 450cc injectors.

Care to post or PM your .zdy file. Id love to take a peek at the timing maps. When you say bone stock, I assume stock compression?

you know what would be sweet, an in-cylinder pressure guage! back to the topic--- i found that above 6k you can stop removing timing, and some times even add some back.
