Tuning advice, Expectations Boost & NOS
Im currently getting my car re-tuned. It was orignally tuned at 385whp 15-16psi. since then i cracked a sleeve and had it re-sleeved. every since never got it running 100% like it was before. hence the reason im re-tuning it
On the old tune i had a 35 shot to spool set-up 2800 rpm to 5k rpm. Turbo is a t3/t4oe 60 trim (750cc injectors)
im thinking on the re-tune i would like to have a second map to run the 35 shot to redline in 4th gear only unless i run slick id do 3rd gear as well . my goal is no more then 475whp...450 realistically
Has anyone ran a small shot up top. i realize you can just add more boost but i would like to retain the nitrous. it is controlled by the s300 which can add fuel /take timing out when its activated. there is only a button to arm it, everything else is done via s300. i dont see why it would be unsafe with a good tune. Just wondering if anyone has similar set-up. previsouly it was used just to help spool time. now that it is sleeved id like to push it further since it is capable of handling it now.
Reason why i even have the nitrous set up was i had all-motor b16 that blew and when i switched to turbo wanted to retain the nitrous kit since it was already wired up to s300
