well i finially rode in a turbo car the other day it was an 99 civic si he was running 5psi. Now i am getting ready to go 55 shot of juice on my 99 gsr would the 55 shot pull as hard as 5 psi of boost, cuz i've never ridin in a car with nitrous. i just want to kinda get a feeling of what it's like.

Re: (jaydmdc2)
From my experience, I was running a dry 70 shot with a NOS system. Then I took that off and got a t3/t4 running 6.5 psi, and it pulled alot harder than the N20.

Re: (m R g S r)
it really depends. i ran 55 shot on my motor before boost. and because it was 55 shot on a stock motor... only intake it didn't pull like 5psi on my turbo. also i've beaten a 7th gen civic with a 50 shot vs me @ 5-6psi. but it's hard to compare especially since nitrous cars benefit a lot from the usual BPU's

Do you see the guys setups on here with say... an SC61? Making 350+ at like 10 psi? Using your math, a 140whp low compression GSR motor plus 10psi would make 240whp.
It all depends on the size of the turbo, the size of the motor, etc.

yah but it's just a way of estimating... hell my car made about 11-12whp per psi on my setup. stock d16y8 makes ~105whp i made 172whp @ 6psi. it's a good way to guesstimate though

There's a slight difference between a D16 vs. B18c when it comes to output.

I've sprayed 125 on a D16, and now putting 13 lbs in a B18c, there is no comparison...the n2o has a more linear feel to it, like a traight smooth pull, where as the boost is more sudden, like KABOOM here we go!
