Default tuning ???

i have a built b16t that was tuned by a local on turbo edit a while back. The car was in good shape, mechanical wise, and had no boost leaks. They plugged into my ecu did some stuff on their lap top and then we did the first pull. It was then they said their was a dip in the graph because their was a boost leak, and i said NO do it again it's in top shape because it was holding boost fine on the way to the shop. Then came the second pull and sure enough it was losing boost according to the auto meter gauge. This situation was different because it would only lose boost as soon as it hit vtec @ 5200. Now its been almost 8 months since that happened and i changed everything from ic to manifold to turbo to vacume line and t bolts and silicone couplers and the damn thing still wont hold boost. Could this have been something to due with the engine mang. or the tuner might have done something wrong for it to lose boost @ vtec???

thanxs, all the help is needed!!!!!!!!

More info on the setup, which manifold and WG. How much of a drop in pressure are we talking about. Do you have any data logs of this?

it's a b16t rods, pistons, etc., has had a sfp mani. now has a blox cast iron, attached is an 38mm tial wg on a elbow, and had a used ic that was banged up, so i purchased one bnib off a buddy who got it on ebay. The vtec is actually set at 5800 NOT 5400, im boosting 10psi on a t3/t04e 57 trim snail and once it hits vtec it starts to drop and when im at redline 8200 its at 6psi, then when i shift it goes back up to 10 psi until i hit vetc then it starts to drop. This happens in every gear.

What spring is in your WG? It is possible for the BOV to be leaking, are you running a gasket there? Where is your gauge feed coming from?

all i know is the wg is set at 7psi, the bov does have a gasket and the feed for the guage is coming from the im, and at one point i had it at the ch on the turbo.
